Troemner Pipette Calibration Services

Troemner's pipette
calibration program is designed to meet all of your GLP, GMP, FDA, ISO, NCCLS, CAP and
CLIA requirements. Troemner repairs, calibrates and certifies any manufacturer's pipette.
Each pipette calibrated by Troemner and returned to you is accompanied by a detailed,
multi-page certificate that meets all necessary standards and requirements.
Troemner offers two service levels:
Traceable Certification includes as-found data, full cleaning, disassembly, seal and
o-ring replacement and visual inspection for signs of wear. Your pipette is then pressure
and vacuum tested for signs of leakage. After stabilizing in Troemners Class 1000
cleanroom for 24 hours, adjustments are performed and as-left data is taken. This includes
"4-4-4" testing (4 measurements at 3 different volumes). If large parts need
replacement you will be contacted by Troemner and billed separately.
UltraClass Certification includes all the
elements of the Traceable Certification listed above however UltraClass includes
"10-10-10" testing (10 measurements at three different volumes). In
addition, the cost of all parts replaced is included in the price. |

Troemner Mass & Weight Calibration Services

Currently, Troemner is an ISO 9001
registered company and is the world's leading supplier of precision weights and mass
standards. They manufacture and certify weights that meet or exceed the
highest tolerance standards of the American Society for Testing & Materials (ASTM) and
the International Organization of Legal Metrology (OIML). Since 1995,
Troemners laboratories have been accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation
Service (UKAS, formerly known as NAMAS) and the National Voluntary Accreditation Program
(NVLAP) which is sponsored and administered by the National Institute of Standards and
Technology (NIST). Troemner offers either NVLAP or UKAS certification for precision
weights.
Today, with working
standards like GMP and GLP, quality standards like ISO, ANSI/ NCSL Z540-1 and FDA
requirements, traceability to a known standard and documentation of that chain of
traceability is crucial in many fields of work. Troemner offers a full line of
weight calibration services traceable to the National Institute of Standards and
Technology (NIST). When you have your weights certified by Troemner, you are
guaranteeing yourself and your auditors that you have weights that were certified using a
documented link to standards calibrated at NIST. |

Troemner's proprietary Mass
Standards Handbook is a useful reference for all metrology laboratory personnel.
This Handbook is designed to clarify the applications, classifications and physical
characteristics of precision weights and mass standards and the tolerances used in their
production and calibration. Anyone who uses balances, scales and associated
calibration weights/weight sets in their work will find this publication a helpful and
practical aid.

DH Instruments Pressure Calibration
Services
For 20 years DH Instruments has
manufactured the highest accuracy primary pressure standards available. Before 1988,
DHI's extensive calibration capabilities were dedicated exclusively to the
calibration of DHI products. Thousands of calibrations were performed for public
utilities, major aerospace companies, defense contractors, government agencies and others
requiring the lowest uncertainties and conformance to formal quality assurance programs.
In the
late 1980s, DHI pressure calibration service capabilities were expanded to support
the calibration and testing of all types and brands of pressure instrumentation. This made
DHI's unique calibration resources available to all users of pressure
instrumentation seeking the best pressure metrology available
Calibrations

Troemner Thermal Mass Flow Meter/Controller
Calibration Service

Troemner is proud to
introduce their new gas mass flowmeter and flow controller calibration program. This
repair, resizing, calibration and certification service is designed to meet all of your
GLP, GMP, FDA, ISO, NCCLS and CLIA requirements. Each instrument is returned to you
with a detailed certificate with both tabular and graphical data to meet all necessary
standards and requirements. All services are performed in their world-class,
state-of-the-art, multimillion dollar metrology lab.
Every flowmeter that they service is
visually inspected for signs of wear and damage, calibrated using the most accurate flow
measurement equipment and techniques available in the industry, helium leak tested and
pressure checked. These final two steps are essential to insure that all process
seals have been properly seated, which can dramatically effect both the performance of a
flowmeter and its safe use. |

Troemner Humidity Calibration Services

Troemner humidity
calibrations are traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
Their facility is ISO/IEC 17025 compliant and NVLAP accreditation is pending.
Troemners humidity calibrations are
based on the NIST proven two-pressure two-temperature generation process. This
humidity calibration approach has been identified by NCSLI as an intrinsic/derived
standard since the value of relative humidity is a mathematical relationship based on
pressure and temperature. This type of humidity generation device is capable of
continuously supplying accurately known humidity. Instruments are calibrated by subjecting
them under test to atmospheres of known humidity at known test temperatures and test
pressures |
